The Best 32 Instagram Business Bio Examples (Which You Can Use)

Let's take a look at ONLY the best Instagram business bio examples.
We've looked at over 500+ business accounts on Instagram...
...And here's what we noticed.
Great Instagram Bio Traits
Most Instagram business bios included:
- A logo which fits the 110px by 110px circle
- Their value proposition/what they do in a short paragraph
- Contact information
- A call to action
- Links which are tracked (and send the user to a landing page)
These are common things you should also include in your bio.
With that being said:
Let's jump in and take a look at the best bios:
Instagram Business Bio #1 - @Acolorstory

A Color Story Use A Color Story to create fresh, colorful photos. 💖Feature:#AColorStory💛Support: acolorstory/support 💚Partner: hello@acolorstory.com
What’s Good About The Bio:
A Color Story let's new visitors understand what they do straight away, whilst proving a call to action through the word "use".
The also give contact information, showing they're a real brand who cares for the users.
In addition, they promote a branded hashtag to build up social proof around users actively using their product.
What Could Be Improved:
- They don't have a call to action telling users to download their app.
- For anyone new to the profile, they may not understand that A Color Story is a free phone app anyone can use. While this information isn't necessary, it could boost monthly app downloads.
- On the day of looking at this profile the link wasn't working at all. This could be fixed but make sure you are sending your audience to a working and mobile friendly landing page.
Instagram Business Bio #2 - @Adaptationsny

Adaptations NY 109 Franklin St. Brooklyn NY, 11222 Tuesday- Friday 12-7 Saturday - Sunday 11-7 | 347.529.5889 Check out our brother store@porterjamesny
What’s Good About The Bio:
The give people their business address and times which will increase in-store traffic.
Their logo is perfectly modified for their Instagram bio. They simply just took the A from their full logo.
What Could Be Improved:
- Fix the spacing for the hypen between "Tuesday- Friday".
- Remove the brother store as you are sending traffic down a path with no conversion goal.
- Add a call to action to get users on to the online store. This could be "Shop our latest interior pieces".
- Add a specific landing page url and track it through a link tracker such as bit.ly. This could be a product you are trying to sell
Instagram Business Bio #3 - @Airbnb

Airbnb Airbnb opens the door to interesting homes and experiences, even if it’s just for a night. Share your stories with @Airbnb. Book from our feed:
What’s Good About The Bio:
Airbnb does a great job of explaining what they do in a quirky and fun way.
The promote users to share their experience by tagging Airbnb (builds social proof)
And they end on a call to action for users to book from their feed. And link you to a mobile friendly landing page to book.
What Could Be Improved:
- If we are going to get picky:
- They could switch their copy to write "Airbnb opens the doors for you to experience interesting homes, even if it's just for a night...". This is more focused on the person reading it.
Instagram Business Bio #4 - @Apartmenttherapy

Apartment Therapy Helping everyone to live happy, healthy lives at home. Share your home photos with #apartmenttherapy
What’s Good About The Bio:
Instantly you understand the benefit of this business. And they use positive emotions and states everyone wants: to be happy and healthy.
A cool logo which fits perfectly inside the Instagram profile picture circle.
They get users to engage with their brand and share their home photos with a branded hashtag.
What Could Be Improved:
- There's no call to action for their website. Why would users want to click without a reason?
- They could use a call to action such as: Shop our feed favourites:
Instagram Business Bio #5 - @Artofvisuals

Art of Visuals | Photography A collective of adventurous creators, inspiring the world through visual art from the past, present, and future. Join us at the NYC GALLERY below!
What’s Good About The Bio:
They let you know what to expect in their feed.
They include the keyword "Photography" in their name to appear in the search results if a user types in Photography.
We talk about tactics like this inside our free Instagram training here.
What Could Be Improved:
- They should be tracking their link to see how many users click by using a service such as bit.ly
Instagram Business Bio #6 - @Barkbox

BarkBox 📦 a monthly box of toys, treats, and chews to thrill your dog 🐶 🌎@bark @barkshop @superchewer⭐️#BarkBoxDay
What’s Good About The Bio:
They explain what their service does in the most simple way. This is important with such limited space.
Including emojis is awesome to visually split up your bio.
They have a tracked link to see how many users click it.
What Could Be Improved:
- Including links to their other accounts could be reducing how many users click their website link at the bottom.
- There is no call to action to get a free bark box or join their contest.
- Their website link takes you to a boring blog post with no conversion goal. Instead send your users to a simple landing page with a conversion goal (subscribe to bark box).
Instagram Business Bio #7 - @Bbcicecream

BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB/ICECREAM WEALTH IS OF THE HEART AND MIND, NOT THE POCKET.
What’s Good About The Bio:
They have their website link tracked.
Their link takes users to a mobile friendly website where you can buy from.
What Could Be Improved:
- There is no value proposition about their brand. Why should people buy from you instead of other clothing brands?
- The logo could work better with a solid color background instead of the camoflage.
- With this being said, clothing and lifestyle brands can go off the rails a little to express their unique style. This works when you have a large audience already and are not just starting off from scratch.
Instagram Business Bio #8 - @Blackmilkclothing

BlackMilk Clothing For the Style Boss 👊 Designed and Made in Australia ✂️#blackmilkclothing to be featured 🔥 👻 : blackmilksnaps Own it👇
What’s Good About The Bio:
They have used their profile name to work with their bio: "Blackmilk ClothingFor the Style Boss".
They let you know the origin and where their product is made.
Promoting your audience to share so they can be featured is a great idea. We talk about this more inside of our free Instagram training here.
They link users directly to a specific product! Make sure to send yours to a specific landing/sales/product page too.
What Could Be Improved:
- They could track the link. But they should have google analytics installed on their website and see the traffic coming from Instagram.
- If there's any benefits such as vegan/animal cruelty free/super soft it's good to include them.
Instagram Business Bio #9 - @Cake.Denim

⊽ C A K E 👖Women's JeansPremium eco-friendly denim + USA made + LA-based 🌟MAKE YOUR MARK🌟 Shop Now ⬇️
What’s Good About The Bio:
They include a call to action (Shop Now) along with emojis to break up their business bio visually.
They also use selling point words such as eco-friendly and USA made to demonstrate their brands value.
What Could Be Improved:
- A better logo could be designed for the circle. It's hard to read all that text even on a desktop computer. Mobile would be much harder.
- They include ' ⊽ 'before their name which will make it hard for users to find them in the search results. Instead they should have their name as Cake Denim
Instagram Business Bio #10 - @Canva

Canva Amazingly simple graphic design tool for 💻 and 📱 Tag your designs with #canvalove to be featured 🎨 Get out templates here:
What’s Good About The Bio:
Sometimes being short can go along way.
Especially when it comes to branding and marketing. There’s a phrase that goes “the less the better”.
And Tesla does that. They let people know their philosophy and provide a tracked link to their homepage.
What Could Be Improved:
This bio is really good. If anything they should be tracking their link and sending users to the actual template page (canva.com/templates).
Instead, check out this other bio they have used:
Canva Design Anything. Publish Anywhere. 💜 Available on 💻 and 📱 What's your #CanvaLovestory?
This is bad because:
- They don't explain the benefit of their product unlike in their first bio ("amazingly simple graphic design tool").
- Their call to action is WEAK. "What's your #canvalovestory?" doesn't really make sense. "Tag your designs with #canvalove to be featured" makes sense and also gets users doing this as there is a reason (to be featured).
Instagram Business Bio #11 - @Charitywater

charity: water We're bringing clean and safe drinking water to peoplein need around the world.
What’s Good About The Bio:
It's simple, clear and straight to the point.
They have a perfect logo for the Instagram profile circle.
What Could Be Improved:
- Add a call to action on how people can contribute or be involved.
Instagram Business Bio #12 - @Dictionarycom

Dictionary.com The official Instagram for Dictionary.com, the world's leading digital dictionary. Get Word of the Day examples and more:
What’s Good About The Bio:
They let users know its the official dictionary brand.
What's super cool is that instead of using a call to action, they give you a reason to follow them instead. Which is that you will "Get word of the day examples".
They send users to a specific landing page!
What Could Be Improved:
- Maybe a book emoji to make the bio more visual, otherwise nothing it's perfect!
Other Awesome Instagram Business Bio Examples To Look At:
Here is a quick reminder of what makes a great Instagram business bio:
- One paragraph about what your business does and the value points (such as eco-friendly, animal cruelty free, organic, easy to use, free etc...)
- Branded #hashtag to drive engagement and generate social proof for your brand
- Call to action telling users what action you want them to do along with a tracked link to takes them to a specific landing page and not your home page.
A bio at the end of the day is a bio. It should be short, to the point and have a call to action for the person reading it.
